How it goes

Splitting email away from a hosting panel is usually the point: mail gets its own server, its own IP reputation and its own upgrade cycle, and the websites stay where they are.

• Email accounts and forwarders are exported per domain and recreated in poste.io.
• Historical email is synchronised over IMAP, folders and read state included.
• MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records are prepared before the switch.
• Websites keep running on cPanel; only the mail records change.
